The challenges that families face today are numerous and intersecting, and they beg a simple question:

The Action Center believes the answer lies in collaboration. By bringing proven organizations into a single place, we can work together, offer deeper and wider support, and use our varied strengths to make the greatest difference.
The current system that cares for our community is overwhelming and complex.

Together with our partners, our shared vision is to redefine and revolutionize how we create community, belonging, and wellbeing. To help people discover, access, and experience the supportive health, wellness, and holistic services they need to thrive.
Holistic services starts with the Commons at Emory.
Our New, Shared Home
To realize this vision, we have purchased Emory Elementary School, a 107,000 sq ft campus in the heart of Lakewood. Together with our partners, we will renovate this building and create our ideal home, intentionally designed for collaboration between the Action Center and our partner organizations.
We have launched our $20M capital campaign to turn this vision into reality.
Our goal is to use this campaign to create a community center that welcomes all with wrap-around services and a sense of belonging. Donations to this campaign directly support our project to renovate Emory Elementary School.
